At Pittsburg Performing Arts Academy, we focus on providing a safe, fun and inclusive atmosphere for our students. Our instructors are highly experienced and passionate about dance, and they strive to create a positive learning environment. We offer a variety of classes, ranging from ballet, jazz and hip hop, to modern and contemporary dance.

Our Story
Our journey began in 2007 when Sharon Sobel Idul purchased Delta Ballet Academy from her mentor and childhood ballet instructor, Ms. Helga Ishikata. In 2014, we found our home in Old Town Pittsburg, expanding beyond ballet to embrace a fuller spectrum of performing arts. Today, from our welcoming space at 329 Railroad Ave, we've created a vibrant arts family that celebrates diversity through ballet, jazz, lyrical, Baile Folklórico, hip hop, acro, and instrumental music.

Our commitment to inclusivity runs deep. Our bilingual office staff ensures every family feels welcomed from their first visit and we take pride in adapting our programs for students with special needs. Whether a beginner taking their first dance steps or an experienced performer ready for new challenges, we create a positive learning environment where everyone can thrive.
